When innovation meets irrelevant birds...
During childhood we are told to be the best in a lot of aspects through our lifetime. To do this there must be something new. Many are tired of the same tried and drab material. When I began writing in the eighth grade; I thought I was just lucky. One poem can't determine your entire future can it? Maybe so. I began truly writing at the age of fifteen and it has been an ongoing experience.
The purpose of this website is to show my growth as an author. However, under the "Stories" tab, my stories are not in chronological order. The best are at the top- and the best of the best will placed under Atrocity, for example, was the very first story I completed as a senior in high school. Everything below it are stories that followed and at some point they do start getting better. I'm not afraid to admit that Children of the Void and Last Action Wizard are bad. A lot of these are experiments. Nutmeg, for example. Many of the episodes are stand alone, but I made the mistake of writing it to post. I never bothered to finish it before submitting it. If you want to skip along and read my best works here is a quick list:
- Nice Albert
-Red's War (Now updated under the Growth tab. Read both to really see how my writing improves, even the small differences)
-The Misfortunate Tomb of Fortunato
-The Owl People of Winnie County Pt. 1
My name is Robert Kahil, I am a storyteller.
- "The art of storytelling is the key to the prison cell of reality."
